Background Information – The Stone Circle is made up of nine major stones, with a flat center stone in the middle. There is often water running underneath the circle and through and around the rocks in the surrounding area. The essence was prepared using water from one of these streams.
I found the circle one day while on a walk. I was heading towards the rock fall when I noticed a large marmot. I started to follow, hoping to get close enough for a picture. At one point, the Marmot stopped on top of a large rock and posed for me. Then he continued to move around the rocks and after awhile he disappeared underneath some large boulders. I walked over to where I last saw him, and when I got there, I saw him again, walking into this circle of stones. He sat on the large flat stone in the middle for awhile and then left. It was then that I really 'saw' the stone circle, and walked into it.
