Electrosmog is an omnipresent and constantly increasing problem in our environment. Every electrical device emits various kinds of electromagnetic waves, intentionally and unintentionally. Since a large number of electrical processes take place in the body, at the cellular, molecular and intercellular level, it can be assumed that these processes are influenced by external electromagnetic fields. The fact that this influence could have a negative impact on health has now become obvious due to the health complaints that frequently occur with mobile communications. There are already a number of serious scientific studies that prove the negative biological effects of electromagnetic waves, particularly with regard to mobile communications. If this topic is largely denied in the official statements of the manufacturers and the government, there are other reasons. We citizens are called upon to help themselves in this situation. During the development of BioProtect, the effects of various types of electrosmog on the body were examined using electrical measurements at acupuncture points. This measuring method was developed by the German doctor Dr. Reinhold Voll developed around 50 years ago and is known as electro acupuncture. With this method, significant stresses can be seen, even if the person concerned does not perceive them subjectively. The electrosmog from cell phones turned out to be a particularly long-term burden.

Now that it was possible to determine the type and strength of electrosmog through measurements on the acupuncture system, it made sense to use the same measurement method to look for ways to prevent this negative effect of electromagnetic fields. Such methods have been found and applied in practice in the BioProtect.

It turned out that electromagnetic waves consist of two types of waves. Once the transverse waves. Its direction of oscillation is transverse to the direction of propagation of the wave, like a wave dancing up and down on the surface of the water as it propagates horizontally. Only this type of wave is used technically today and the existing measuring devices only measure this transverse wave.

There is also the longitudinal wave. With it, the wave oscillates along the direction of propagation, much like sound. However, since it has clear biological effects in contrast to the transverse wave, it can be measured with biological methods, e.g. with electroacupuncture, but also via the growth of cell cultures or based on changes in the brain waves in the EEG. These biological effects of the longitudinal waves are what we call electrosmog. Longitudinal waves have different physical properties than transverse waves. They were discovered by Nikola Tesla over a hundred years ago and their theory has recently been described by Prof. Konstantin Meyl. The special paint alone, for example, only has an electrosmog neutralizing effect on the body if the effective area is no further than 2 cm from the skin surface.
