4. Ecstasy

Heart chakra.

This essence connects us with the fourth chakra — the Heart chakra. One of the qualities of the Heart chakra is acceptance. This is a key word in personal exploration, transformation and growth.

Often when we are looking within and investigating our inner world, we come across aspects of ourselves, our personality, behavioural traits, even genetic inherited patterns that we don't like, find unattractive, or perhaps find seductive but are afraid of. Acceptance means allowing all things to be without judgement or condemnation - in deep equanimity.

Equally we may find aspects of ourselves that we think are fabulous, that we want to show off to others, to impress. Again acceptance brings a quality of quiet allowing, just letting things be as they are.

With acceptance comes space – by allowing things to be exactly as they are, we create a spaciousness around them. There is no longer an energy of, "for or against", of suppression or expression. Both these qualities of energy, especially antagonism – create a rigid, tight energy field, and within this it is very hard for things to change, transform or dissolve. Acceptance creates a matrix of spaciousness – a fluidity. Then things can move as they need - into a more natural dance - into balance. Accepting ourselves exactly as we are means that we love ourselves, and we exude a loving relaxed energy because we are happy with who we are.

Only a person who loves him or her self is truly capable of loving another. And equally a person who loves themselves is like a beacon of light, immensely attractive to other people. Others are drawn towards them, as they too, long to feel the same acceptance of themselves.

A person who accepts themselves is also able then to accept others exactly as they are with all their flaws or blemishes, without any judgment or condemnation.

Looking deeper within the Heart chakra we discover that at the core - all of us are made of love.
