Let Go

The secret of living is to be fully present in the moment – open and vulnerable to whatever life is offering right now. Most of us live however bouncing between the past which has gone forever, and a future which has yet to arrive; never allowing ourselves to fully experience and feel what is happening in the moment and allowing its mysteries and wonders to unfold, allowing ourselves to be open to new unthought of possibilities.

We are too focused on either regretting the past and wishing events had turned out differently, or idolising it and wishing things were still the same now. At the same time we are busy hoping and planning on a future that can only be a projection of our past, of what we have known or wanted, and so we keep ourselves living in circles of repetition.

In India this is called karma – the law of cause and effect. The only way to drop out of this circular groove is to Be Here Now. Immersed fully in the present moment.

This essence - Let Go - helps us to let go on all levels. On the physical level it helps us to let go of tensions and holdings in the body. On the emotional level it helps us to let go of old pains and hurts, of wounds from the past that we carry with us into the future colouring our behaviour and responses to all that life offers. It helps us to let go of old thought patterns, desires and hopes of the way we want things to be or not to be. Thereby helping us to relax, allow and enjoy all the wonders and magic that Existence is showering us with right now.
